Connect Tidy Vision to ChatGPT

Link your ChatGPT account once and it can pull up your scans, read a cleaning plan out loud, check what's left in your product vault and tell you how many scans you have left — all as you, all read through your own login.

Your connector URL

Paste this into ChatGPT's custom connector form. Keep the www. — the bare domain redirects and some clients mishandle that.

Five steps in ChatGPT

  1. 1

Open Apps & Connectors in ChatGPT

In ChatGPT go to Settings → Apps & Connectors. Custom connectors need a Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise plan.

On Business/Enterprise an admin may need to allow custom connectors first.

  2. 2

    Turn on Developer mode

Still in Settings, open Advanced settings and enable Developer mode. This reveals the option to add your own connector.

Skip this if you already see a “Create” or “Add custom connector” button.

  3. 3

    Create the Tidy Vision connector

Click Create / Add custom connector. Name it “Tidy Vision”, paste the connector URL below, and choose OAuth as the authentication method.

  4. 4

    Sign in and approve

Hit Connect. ChatGPT sends you to the Tidy Vision sign-in and consent screen — sign in with the same account you use here, then press Approve.

No card, API key or secret to paste. Access is tied to your Tidy Vision login.

  5. 5

    Enable it in a chat

Open a new chat, tap the tools/connector picker and switch on Tidy Vision. Try “list my recent scans” or “how many scans do I have left?”.

What ChatGPT can access

You approve these on the consent screen. Every request runs as your signed-in account, so ChatGPT only ever sees your own scans and products — never anyone else's.

If something goes wrong

I can't find “Create” or “Add custom connector”

Turn on Developer mode under Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin has to allow custom connectors first.

The connection fails or loops back

Check the URL has the www. prefix and that Authentication is set to OAuth, not None or API key. Then try Connect again.

ChatGPT says it has no scans

Make sure you signed in on the consent screen with the same email you use in Tidy Vision, and that the Tidy Vision connector is toggled on in that chat.
