1. Who We Are

Tidy Vision is operated by Tidy Vision (“Tidy Vision”, “we”, “us”). Tidy Vision is the data controller responsible for personal data processed through the Service. You can reach us at admin@tidy-vision.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, and billing details when you create an account or make a purchase. We also collect photos you upload for analysis, usage data, and device/log information (including IP address) to operate and improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information & Legal Bases

We process your information for the following purposes and rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR (and equivalent laws):

  • Providing the Service (account creation, image analysis, generating your cleaning plan) — performance of a contract with you.
  • Processing payments, subscriptions, invoicing and tax complianceperformance of a contract and compliance with a legal obligation.
  • Security, fraud prevention, and service improvement (usage telemetry, abuse detection) — our legitimate interests in operating a safe, reliable product.
  • Customer support communicationsperformance of a contract and our legitimate interests.
  • Optional analytics or marketing cookies, where used — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Data Storage and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege backend roles) to protect your data. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Sharing of Information

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients, under appropriate contractual safeguards:

  • Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”) — our payment service provider. When you make a purchase, your payment details (card number, billing address, etc.) are submitted directly to Stripe and processed by Stripe on our behalf for card authorization, fraud prevention, billing, and (where applicable) tax calculation. We do not store full card numbers ourselves. Stripe’s use of your data is governed by its own privacy notice at stripe.com/privacy.
  • Infrastructure and AI providers — hosting, database, authentication, and AI model providers acting as our processors strictly to deliver the Service.
  • Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and competent authorities where required by law.

6. International Transfers

Some recipients listed above may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that is the case, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent UK transfer mechanisms.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. Where we use analytics or marketing cookies, we ask for your consent first. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.

8. Your Rights

Subject to local law (including the GDPR and UK GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below and we will respond within one month.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. When you delete your account we remove or anonymise your data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to keep records (e.g. billing records held by us or by Stripe for tax purposes).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
